- Public Internet Access
- Thanks to the Public Internet Access Programme (PIAP), PICAL can now provide the community with free Internet Access. This service is available in the Centrelink waiting room and can be used to check emails, surf the Internet or use any of the software.
- Administration Services
- PICAL is able to provide community access to a range of administrative services at a reasonable rate. Anyone can use our facilities to photocopy, send or receive faxes, access computers for resume writing, email or internet access. We also provide a typing service. PICAL members receive a discount rate for all services we offer.
- Wellbeing Solutions Counselling and Support Service
- Total Wellbeing Solutions works from a positive, solution focussed framework providing counselling and support for many problems and issues. You can talk to Sandy in a safe, non-judgemental environment about problems such as family stress, relationships, separation, divorce, conflict, parenting, workplace issues, loss and grief and any other problems causing concern. Bookings can be made for Wednesday's 6-8pm and Saturdays 10-12pm. Fees vary between $35-$45 and are negotiable depending on circumstances
- What is a Neighbourhood House?
- PICAL is one of over 330 Neighbourhood Houses in Victoria who provide social, educational and recreational activities for their local communities in a welcoming supportive environment.
- What is an ACE provider?
- Adult and Community Education (ACE) providers offer a wide variety of courses for lifelong learning in a community setting that are either: formal (accredited - which means you end up with a certificate or recognised qualification) or informal (non-accredited).

- PICAL and Kids House are able to provide a range of services to the community because of the support they receive from all levels of Government.

- The Cowes Centrelink Agency is run by PICAL and is located in McKenzie Cottage. Access to Centrelink forms, publications, telephone and facsimile facilities are available. Our staff can respond to most general enquiries as well as provide a direct link to Centrelink staff (including specialists) if more assistance is needed.

- Visiting Services
- Service providers rent rooms on a regular or as needed basis. Services using our facilities include the Advanced Personnel Management, South Coast Employment Service, Employment Innovations, Australian Hearing Services, Gippsland Occupational Therapy services, Counselling services, Financial counselling, Mental Illness Fellowship, Monash Drink Driving, Work Solutions Gippsland. For information about any of these services please ask at reception.
