PICAL Community Pantry Garden
PICAL moved to its new site in December 2022. Its Pantry Garden opened up soon after in August 2023 at its current site at 117 Settlement Rd, Cowes. The Bass Coast Shire and RSL provided the
funding to establish the new garden infrastructure.
The ongoing operation of the PICAL Community Garden is supported by volunteers, donations, fundraising and grants.
The PICAL Community Garden team are passionate about local food. Beyond the growing of food, they have created a
welcoming space for gardening workshops / training, events and visits with other community groups in the area.
