Become a PICAL Member


Phillip Island Community and Learning Centre (PICAL) is a not for profit community-based organisation providing a space to meet, socialise, learn, create and access information about local services. PICAL provides services such as emergency food relief, counselling, free hearing tests, employment services and a Centrelink Agency. We also have a number of community spaces available for hire for meetings, training, social gatherings and community groups. 


As a member of PICAL you are eligible to join the Committee of Management and have a say in the centre's future direction and operation. Membership reflects our strong connection to the community by raising our profile and giving us a strong voice from which to gain further funding for the benefit of the community and our members.  

As a Member you are entitled to:

  • Voting rights at Annual General Meeting

  • Eligibility for PICAL Committee of Management

  • Free tea and coffee

  • Early bird notification of the quarterly Term Course Guide along with any other material regarding upcoming events and activities at the Centre

  • Access to members only events

  • Discounts on all Learn Local and Leisure and Lifestyle courses, as well as some great offers by some of our local businesses. Just some of our participating businesses include: Chatters on Cowes, Flowers of Phillip Island, De Boss Beauty, Jacar Electronics, Bani's Restaurant, Katering, Penny Lane Phillip Island, Phillip Island Tenpin Bowling and Entertainment Centre, Pollyanna, Spice Island's Living Furniture and Cowes Kitchen.
