U3A (University of the Third Age)
U3A Stagecraft Group
The Stagecraft group love stories - they love telling stories, they love acting out stories, and they love performing the stories for the enjoyment of others.
It might be for the staff and residents of our local aged care facilities, or a small audience for a play-reading , or in our large U3A Annual Concert at the end of the year.
The energy and creativity of choosing, developing, polishing and presenting a piece of theatre to a live audience gives everyone involved a real ‘buzz’.
So if you would like to join in the fun – whether it be behind the scenes, on stage, or doing the publicity, etc. you would be very welcome. We are a cheerful, encouraging mob, dead keen and full of ideas. And, while we work hard, we do it with a lot of laughter.
Why not come and see for yourself …
