Women Connect is a separate women's co-working space located on-site at PICAL. Now in its third year of operation, this beautiful and welcoming space is supported by Project Manager Courtney Wallace and her amazing team of Volunteers. The Hotspot Office is filled with excellent resources including computers, printers, free WIFI and incredibly friendly and helpful women to help you connect to your community.  It's a great place to work, study or drop in for a cuppa!

The Hotspot Office provides:

  • small business mentoring

  • free resume assistance

  • career advice, training sessions on job searching and applications

  • networking opportunities

  • direct links to local employers and employment services

  • "Work Wardrobe" where local women can access suitable interview clothing or industry related uniform items for free, along with styling and wardrobe advice from our Work Wardrobe Co-ordinator.  To complement this service, the Women's Essentials cabinet is stocked with sanitary items, deodorant, toothpaste/toothbrushes, hairspray, hair ties, shampoo/conditioner, body wash and soap.  Both services are totally confidential and private and aim to maintain the dignity of the women accessing them.
